Smallest Human Form Ever Using 3D Printer

Advances in 3D printing continue to amaze as we see the construction technique used at ever larger and smaller sizes.

A London based artist, Jonty Hurwitz has utilized nano-scale 3D printing to created the smallest ever sculpture of the human form. Placing those sculptures onto familiar objects like a pin head or human hair, the artist offers viewers a profound reflection on our sense of scale.

While nano-scale 3D printing is being developed largely for use in the creation of computer chips, it’s a wonder to see the technology used for less practical purposes.
